There were 511 single-family home sales in Scottsdale during the month of April. The median asking price for homes was $625,000 and the median sales price for Scottsdale was $379,000.

The highest-priced sale of April 2012 was $3,075,000. This home was a luxury foreclosure in the golf community of Silverleaf. It had four bedrooms, eight bathrooms and 9,384 square feet.

The least expensive home sold in Scottsdale in April 2012 was a short sale in need of repairs. It had three bedrooms, two bathrooms and 1,131 square feet. The sales price was $65,000.
Clearly golf is a main draw when considering Scottsdale, but golf is not the only draw. Spectacular urban lofts and high-rise condominiums are being built in downtown Scottsdale, allowing the residents to walk to the many galleries of Old Town as well as myriad choices for dining, entertainment, shopping and nightlife. North Scottsdale has also seen significant development and residents of North Scottsdale also have plenty of choices for outdoor activities, shopping, dining and entertainment.
