There were 395 single-family home sales in Scottsdale during the month of December. The median asking price for homes was $598,900 and the median sales price for Scottsdale was $372,000.

The highest-priced sale in December 2011 was $5,000,000. This home was located in the upscale community of Estancia in North Scottsdale. The home was 12,971 square feet and had 5 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.

The least expensive home sold in Scottsdale in December 2011 was a short sale home built in 1958. It had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and was 1,362 square feet. The sales price was $67,900.
Clearly golf is a main draw when considering Scottsdale, but golf is not the only draw. Spectacular urban lofts and high-rise condominiums are being built in downtown Scottsdale, allowing the residents to walk to the many galleries of Old Town as well as myriad choices for dining, entertainment, shopping and nightlife.
